In other news I spoke to my (little) big (half)brother for the first time in ten years. The last time I saw him he was getting married; I was eleven and more concerned with the state of the strawberry supply than any of the proceedings. He has a four year old little girl. She's darling, from the photos I've seen of her, but he says she's a little terror, true to familial fashion.

"The first TEN people to comment in this post get to request a drabble of any* pairing/character of their choosing from me. In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability level. If you absolutely can't write, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to offer drawings or icons or something instead. Last bit ain't mandatory."

I am having a nice weekend. My mom is not here. That automatically makes it nice.

Edit: I forgot how fun it was to watch Chris walk across hot paving stones barefoot.

For anyone who doesn't know, we've pretty much been told to Get Out Now and given two weeks to pack our things. Chris is putting me up for a little while until mum can get thing situated back here. Hopefully I'll find a job in the first week or so, so I can start saving up money like I've been wanting to.

Everything is fine. I panicked a little at first, but this is far from my first circus show.

At least I'll have shiny internets and lovely air conditioning for a while, and, if nothing else, a break from my crazy crazy mum.

And only a little while longer til Texas, comparative to my lifespan. I will be so glad.
